Must demonstrable experience with Automation technologies such as Shell, Ansible, or Terraform and creation of Jenkins pipelines for Cloud environments (i.e. Azure, AWS, OCI).

3+ years in a Project Lead capacity is preferred but not required

Primary Responsibilities :

• Lead a team of Off-Shore DBAs supporting Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS, PostGreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, and Couchbase). Provide technical direction, day-to-day priorities of work assignment, and process oversight
• Demonstrable experience with Automation technologies such as Shell, Ansible, or Terraform and creation of Jenkins pipelines for Cloud environments (i.e. Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Implement database solutions that are scalable and architected for high availability
• Work with Office Depot management and Product and Technology teams for short- and long-term database planning, technology roadmap creation and operational improvements. Provide security audit reporting for compliance of SOX, PCI, CCPA and PII as required by the specific applications under scope. Develop new procedures to support changes in these governing compliance areas over time.
• Provide 24 / 7 support including being a part of an on-call rotation. Flexibility to build and maintain the schedules with the offshore team members is required. Establishing of daily, weekly, and monthly health checks to ensure optimal operation of IT systems
• Knowledge and experience working directly with vendors for support escalation and technology advancement.
• Ensure databases have the correct data protection backup and recovery plans and that these plans are exercised on a regular basis for local restoration needs
• Execute and support cloning and capacity management for databases under support

Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 8 to 10 years applicable experience required. Experience with database technologies. Knowledge of at least one scripting language. Desire to be working with data and helping businesses make better data driven decisions.
