About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director of Equity Placement to lead and drive capital-raising efforts with limited partners in North America. This role is pivotal in sourcing and identifying institutional capital opportunities for various mandates. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships, obtaining capital commitments, and ensuring the successful execution of deals. The role demands a high level of real estate knowledge, the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and the flexibility to prioritize as needed. The ideal candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven track record in capital raising, capable of effectively communicating the complexities of deals and articulating the value to potential investors.
Applicants for the Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and at least 10 years' of experience in a capital-raising role within a real estate-focused or sophisticated investment management firm. The role requires a candidate with deep real estate knowledge, a successful track record in capital raising, and experience in managing the capital-raising process. The candidate must be highly motivated, results-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills. A Registered Representative licensing is required. The role is suited for a creative, solutions-oriented individual with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to lead by example.
