Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 11 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location : Tulsa, OK Contract Duration : (13 Weeks) Shift : Days | Monday-Thursday | 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Responsibilities : Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and efficiently according to physician orders. Operate and maintain Siemens imaging equipment and related technologies. Administer, document, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals per protocol. Maintain records of the receipt, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with NRC and DEQ standards. Conduct quality control testing and ensure equipment calibration and regulatory compliance. Assist with room and equipment maintenance, ensuring a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Schedule exams, verify orders, and maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation. Provide support and education to patients regarding procedures and expectations. Participate in cross-training and departmental quality improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. PET scan experience required. Proficient in Siemens equipment and Epic EMR system . Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Education : Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program . Certifications & Licensure : CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) certification required. CPR certification required. Preferred Qualifications : Previous experience in a Cancer Center or hospital radiology setting . Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. We are an equal opportunity employer.
