About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Therapist

Must-Have : Skills in all aspects of Adult Critical Care; Pediatrics and Infant Care preferred

Description :

Respiratory Therapist position available.

Facility includes 241 licensed beds, is a Level 3 Trauma Center, and a certified Chest Pain Center.

Unit averages 170 patients per day.

Will accept first-time travelers.

Patient population ranges from infants to geriatrics.

Departmental leadership support is available.

Hospitalist coverage is provided 24 / 7.

Intensivist support is virtual after hours.

Electronic Medical Records utilized : EPIC.

Medication dispensing system : Omnicell.

Monitoring equipment includes : Masimo.

Unit specific equipment includes : Servo I Ventilator, Trilogy Ventilator, Servo Air BIPAP, ABL Blood Gas Analyzers, Bubble CPAP.

Floating may be required based on regional needs, with payment for time traveling between facilities while remaining on the clock.

Weekend rotation expectation is every other weekend with no on-call requirements.

Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.

Requests for time off can be approved up to 6 days, excluding holidays, and must be added to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours.

Schedule cycle is every 6 weeks.

Scrub color is royal blue.
