The Tank Farm Operator manages daily operations of airport fuel storage and distribution systems, ensuring safe fuel handling, regulatory compliance, and accurate inventory and maintenance records.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO WORK AS A TANK FARM OPERATOR

• Operate and maintain fuel storage tanks, pumps, pipelines, and associated equipment at the airport's tank farm
• Monitor tank levels, temperature, and pressure to ensure the safe and efficient storage of aviation fuels
• Coordinate and assist with the receipt, testing, and quality control of aviation fuels, adhering to industry specifications
• Follow established safety protocols and emergency response procedures to address potential fuel spills or incidents
• Maintain accurate records of fuel transactions, inventory levels, and equipment maintenance activities
• Conduct preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting and repairs of tanks, pumps, and valves
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Previous experience in fuel storage and distribution operations
• Knowledge of fuel handling and safety procedures
• Ability to operate fuel transfer equipment and perform routine maintenance
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a safety-conscious manner
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
• Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
• Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
