Position Summary
General Manager role at Living Spaces Furniture. The primary role is to lead the entire store team to excellence in team member, guest, and financial outcomes by overseeing daily operations.
Responsibilities
Ensure the retail store team is fully staffed with the right talent to meet standard work expectations.
Schedule coverage to optimize productivity and efficiency.
Lead the team to execute channel strategy, meet sales, profit and customer satisfaction goals.
Drive profitable outcomes through execution of Sales Leadership and Operations Standard Work.
Create a “Guest First” culture by measuring guest feedback and engagement.
Manage gap and change current reality through business plans for people and processes.
Collaborate with Corporate partners to develop effective customer service strategy and brand awareness.
Execute strategic opportunities across departments and align with company OKRs.
Prepare talent management plan and succession strategy.
Recruit, lead, develop teams and build high‑performance culture.
Host talent conversations, coach, mentor and demonstrate leadership.
Set clear expectations and hold teams accountable.
Manage budget, resources, staffing and operations per business priorities.
Own P&L and make financial decisions for store profitability.
Ensure brand presentation per Style Guides.
Drive results with SOPs, retail processes and procedures.
Engage store TEC teams for employee engagement.
Partner on community efforts to promote the brand.
Open and close store as needed, securing the building and alarms.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, sales, merchandising or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in customer‑interactive environment; at least 3 years of management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Compensation
Pay range : $105,000.00 – $140,200.00.
