Environmental Technician

Earth Smart Environmental Solutions is seeking an Environmental Field Technician to collect hazardous, nonhazardous, and universal waste from the Dallas VA Medical Center and surrounding clinics. The ideal candidate will collect waste at satellite accumulation areas throughout the campus twice a month and transfer it to a central accumulation area. This position requires 24 hours per week, with potential for more in the future.

Essential functions and responsibilities include :

• Transfer liquid waste from small containers (1-5 gallons) to large containers (55-gallon drums).
• Document compliance audits and reports for designated representatives.
• Assist the Field Chemist / Driver in loading the transport vehicle.
• Develop and maintain client relations through effective communication.
