Position Summary / Details
The co-op will support Environmental Services initiatives by working alongside subject matter experts within the department, including : Air (emissions tracking, plant operations / power generation); Water (NPDES permitting, stormwater management systems); Land (Environmental Resource Permitting, storage tank compliance); Waste (solid & hazardous waste management, chemical management, contamination assessment & remediation); Sustainability (Manatee protection / outreach, Blue Carbon, GHG tracking / initiatives, etc.)
Accountabilities
As a successful candidate for our POSITION , you would :
Physical Location of Co-op : Midtown East Tower, 3600 Midtown Drive, Tampa, FL 33607
Working Conditions : Office environment with some field work.
Availability : Part – Time (20-30 hours)
Qualifications
Education : The successful applicant should be enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or a graduate level post-secondary educational program in a related discipline.
Co-Op Requirements :
Required Degree : Environmental Engineering
Preferred / Related Discipline : Environmental Science and Policy
Year in School : No preference

Storm Duty Requirements
