ASCP Environmental Services Technician I - PRN

This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by adhering to health department standards and organizational policies.

Job Summary

As an Environmental Services Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and servicing assigned areas using germicidal detergents and cleaning supplies. Duties include dusting, mopping, washing walls and windows, cleaning furniture and equipment, and managing waste and soiled linens. You will work under close supervision, performing routine tasks efficiently while being mindful of patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient care areas, offices, and common spaces.
• Handle laundered supplies and ensure clean linens are available where needed.
• Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and safety.
• Rotate between various district facilities as required, including clinics and hospital settings.
• Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.
