Registered Clinical Nurse (RN) – PRN Float, Day Shift

LaGrange, GA PRN | Day Shift

About the Role :

Are you a skilled Registered Nurse looking for a PRN float opportunity across multiple units? Join a collaborative, patient-centered team where your clinical expertise helps deliver safe, high-quality care. This role allows you to rotate through different units, supporting patients, families, and staff while gaining broad experience in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Apply the Nursing Process

    • assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using evidence-based practices.

  • Deliver patient-centered care tailored to age, culture, and condition.
  • Partner with patients, families, and care teams to achieve care goals.
  • Coordinate and document safe, high-quality patient care while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
  • Serve as a mentor / preceptor to support nursing staff development and professional growth.
  • Promote evidence-based practice , participate in data collection, and support clinical research initiatives.
  • Proactively plan patient care across the care continuum and contribute to protocol development for best outcomes.

    • Qualifications :

  • RN License (GA or Multi-State Compact)
  • BLS & ACLS Certification (instructor or provisional acceptable)
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's required; BSN preferred)
  • Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience in an acute care setting

    • Skills & Attributes :

  • Strong clinical judgment, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively in emergencies
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills
  • Competent in clinical technology and documentation
