Responsibilities Position is in an acute care setting within the Nuclear Medicine department Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week There is one scanner in the department and the primary equipment is Siemens / D-Spect for cardiac imaging Patient caseload averages 3-8 scans per day, including cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ studies May be required to float or cover other areas as needed Electronic charting is done using Cerner EMR Potential for weekend call shifts as needed Duties include performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures such as cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric, and VQ scans Must occasionally float within the radiology department as needed Scrubs are not provided; dress code applies Holiday coverage may be required as needed Candidates must not have been employed at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity Health, within the past year Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Active ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required Current BLS certification from AHA required Must be able to work independently Experience with Siemens equipment and related nuclear imaging preferred Ability to start IVs is required Active state license required if applicable; pending licenses are not accepted Copy of a valid driver's license is required Two professional references required, including one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-588566.
