Job Description & Skill Requirement :
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
2. 4+ years hands on embedded software development experience
3. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
4. Team player with demonstrated commitment to meeting schedule and project milestones.
5. Good interpersonal & Communication skills to build positive departmental and inter-departmental relationships in a virtual, remote, and asynchronous environment.
6. Experience in developing firmware for medical devices
7. Programming in C++ and C targeting embedded Microcontrollers
8. Object Oriented design patterns and implementation in C++
9. Experience with RTOS based applications and designing multi-threaded applications
10. Experience with CAN and Ethernet
11. Experience in software risk management and writing software requirements
12. Experience with waveform generation, transducer signal sampling, motor control and other electromechanical control
13. Understanding of electronic circuitry : board bring up and interfacing with on and off chip peripherals such as SPI, UART, I2C, ADC’s and DAC’s
14. Proficient in using lab equipment (logic analyzers, in-circuit emulators, oscilloscopes and DVMs) to debug and troubleshoot designs
15. Experience in using static analysis, unit testing and other tools / methods to produce high quality
16. Experience using Git
17. Experience in working in a Continuous Integration (CI) environment
18. Experience with one or more software configuration management systems and related tools, such as : Confluence, Jenkins, AWS DevOps, Jira, Git, GitHub, TFS
19. FDA / ISO regulations for software development, prefer including IEC 62304
20. Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle Management (SDLC) – (Agile / Scrum, iterative
