  • Perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover trends, troubleshoot data anomalies, and provide actionable insights.
  • Work daily with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Data Lake.
  • Write T-SQL and DAX code to deliver efficient queries and optimized reports.
  • Explore and adopt new Microsoft features, including dataflows and advanced analytics integrations, to improve speed and functionality.

Leadership & Collaboration :

  • Lead a small team of BI developers and analysts, with a focus on mentoring and code reviews.
  • Work side by side with your team — contributing directly to deliverables while teaching best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into working SQL solutions and BI dashboards.
  • Set coding standards, enforce data governance, and ensure consistent, reliable output.
  • Qualifications : Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 6+ years of hands-on BI and SQL development experience.
  • 2+ years of team leadership or mentoring experience in a BI / analytics environment.
  • Strong experience writing and tuning SQL (queries, stored procedures, indexing, performance optimization).
  • Proven experience with ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • Skilled in building and optimizing Power BI dashboards for executive and operational audiences.
  • Excellent communicator who can explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Data Lake.
  • Advanced DAX and T-SQL skills.
  • Exposure to Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Track record of being a hands-on leader, balancing coding with team mentorship.
  • Supervision Exercised :

Direct guidance and oversight of development staff and contractors.
