About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Shift : 12-Hour Day / Night Rotate

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years

License : Active RN license

Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Bipap, Cpap, Heated High Flow, Oxygen titration, Moderate Sedation, Telemetry, Medical-Surgical patient care

Description :

The medical surgical unit and progressive care unit equip RNs with fundamental critical care experience in mechanical ventilation.

The focus is on safe patient outcomes with an average length of stay of 4 days on the medical surgical unit and 9 days in acute care.

Patient diagnoses include pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, COVID-19, and pulmonary embolism.

The unit handles complex cases requiring nursing skills in oxygen therapy, intravenous medications, moderate sedation monitoring during procedures, chest tubes, tracheostomies, postoperative care, non-invasive ventilation, mechanical ventilation, and cardiac monitoring.

The diverse patient population and supportive family culture provide an exceptional nursing environment.

RNs advocate for the safety and care of patients while developing critical thinking, time management, and patient care priority skills.
