Job Summary : The driver / vehicle maintenance worker is responsible for the safe / legal operation of agency vehicles and providing basic maintenance of the vehicles.
Direct Report To : Business Coordinator Supervises : No
FLSA STATUS : Non-Exempt
Duties / Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions :
- Transport clients to / from the assigned destination and assist them on / off the vehicle as required.
- Completes assigned deliveries and pickups, which may include shopping duties.
- Report any necessary maintenance work on agency vehicles.
- Prepares all required records and reports.
- Assures that vehicle is maintained in a safe manner.
- Ensure cleanliness of vehicle at all times.
- Assist and participate in emergency evacuation.
- Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualification
This position requires a valid CDL or Chauffeurs driver license, an acceptable accident / violation motor vehicle record, experience in transporting wheelchairs, basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

This position requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 1 year of working experience with the intellectual disabled population preferred.
