Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Title : Accounts Payable Specialist

Location : Hybrid in Redmond, WA

Compensation : $25 - $35 / hour

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
  • Strong understanding of accruals, expense coding, and month-end close processes.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel (basic formulas such as SUMIFS).

Job Description

  • Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently for multiple entities, ensuring compliance with internal approval workflows.
  • Manage daily invoice volume (~20 U.S. invoices / day) and assist with international invoice processing as needed.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end close activities, including accruals and credit card reconciliations.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of Ramp, our new procure-to-pay automation platform.
  • Collaborate with U.S. and New Zealand AP teams to ensure consistency and accuracy across entities.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely, professional manner.
  • Assist with process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide backup support for payroll reporting if needed.
  • Work closely with senior leadership across multiple cost centers (20+) to ensure accurate coding and reporting.
