Overview

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship casino resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This world-renowned entertainment, gaming and hospitality destination unveiled a $1.5 billion expansion on Oct. 24, 2019. New offerings include 638 upscale guestrooms in the first-ever Guitar Hotel, 168 luxury guestrooms and unique swim-up suites in the adjacent Oasis Tower at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, and 465 newly redesigned guestrooms in Hard Rock Hotel for a combined room count of 1,271 throughout the resort. The integrated resort is located on 87 acres of the Hollywood Seminole Reservation along State Road 7 (U.S. Highway 441), and is 10 minutes from Fort Lauderdale / Hollywood International Airport and 30 minutes from downtown Miami and Miami International Airport.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent adjusts, repairs, troubleshoots and maintains heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Essential Job Functions :

• Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
• Performs all preventive maintenance on systems and maintains applicable log books.
• Conducts walk-through inspections; changes belts, filters, adjusts air volume dampers, checks gauges, coils, drain lines, bleeds gas lines, resets compressors, check unit sensors, relocates ductwork and troubleshoots to locate sources and cause of malfunction.
• Assists with estimating parts, supplies, equipment and labor hours needed to complete assigned repairs and monitors computer for malfunctions.
• Maintains quality of air, air flow and temperature at on and off-site facilities; adjusts valves to regulate temperature of lubrication oil and flow of water through system.
• Records gauge readings, repairs completed and time lost due to inoperative equipment.
• Maintains technical logs and records all relevant data as appropriate.
• Knowledge of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino's policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
• Promotes positive public / employee relations at all times.
• Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.

Performs all other related and compatible / non-compatible duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical certificate as well as a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience with commercial / industrial equipment or an equivalent combination of education and / or experience.
