  • Location : Fairbanks, Alaska (99701) – Alaska healthcare jobs\n
  • Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse\n
  • Unit : Emergency Room (ER)\n
  • Start Date : November 30, 2025\n
  • End Date : March 22, 2026\n
  • Duration : 16-week contract\n
  • Shift : 12-hour rotating shifts (mid and night shifts : 9am-9 : 30pm, 11am-11 : 30pm, 12pm-12 : 30am, 2pm-2 : 30am, 6 : 45pm-7 : 15am, 5pm-5am)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2200 - $2360\n
  • Free 1-bedroom housing provided (pet units not available) \n

    • \n\nEmergency Room RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a staff Registered Nurse in a Level 1-3 trauma center\n
  • Active Alaska RN license required at time of application\n
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (active or scheduled at time of submittal)\n
  • ENPC certification preferred\n
  • Ability to float to other units as needed\n
  • Availability to work 3 weekends per 4-week schedule period\n
  • On-call : 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule in addition to regular weekly shifts\n
  • Holiday coverage required (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)\n
  • Permanent address must be at least 50 miles outside of Fairbanks, Alaska\n
  • Two completed references required (at least one from a supervisor within the past year preferred)\n

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced ER setting\n
  • Assess, triage, and manage patients with acute and emergent medical conditions\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Accurately document all patient care activities in a timely manner\n
  • Float to other hospital units as needed to support clinical operations\n
  • Participate in on-call and holiday coverage as scheduled\n
