Accounting Specialist I

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

• Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and payments Investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly Maintain organized and accurate documentation for audits and internal reviews Support compliance with tax and regulatory requirements Provide support during month-end and year-end close processes Generate billing reports and account statements for management Collaborate with other departments (sales, customer service, operations) to streamline accounting processes Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Required Skills / Abilities : Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word Data entry accuracy Clear communication Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills Team orientated Effective time management skills Ability to meet critical deadlines Highest level of integrity Education and Experience : High school diploma is required 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred Benefits : Competitive salary Excellent benefits package 401K matching About Funeral Directors Life Funeral Directors Life,  a subsidiary of Directors Investment Group (DIG),  offers an award-winning workplace that is truly one-of-a-kind.
