We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Enterprise Architect 2 to join our Information Technology Services team to drive digital transformation and deliver strategic technology solutions.

Position Summary

The Senior Enterprise Architect 2 will play a critical role in designing and implementing a consolidated, enterprise-level application platform leveraging Salesforce and MuleSoft technologies. This individual will provide strategic technical direction, architect scalable and secure solutions, and guide teams through modernization efforts that enhance DODD's services to citizens, providers, county boards, and community partners.

This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong collaboration skills across business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce and MuleSoft Expertise

Serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce and MuleSoft platforms, ensuring alignment with best practices and the latest capabilities.

Lead the design and maintenance of the enterprise technical architecture for applications built on Salesforce and MuleSoft.

Define and enforce integration standards, data management protocols, and platform governance.

Develop scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions aligned with DODD's business goals and technology roadmap.

2. Solution Design and Development

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to define and translate requirements into technical designs.

Create and maintain technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and comprehensive documentation.

Oversee end-to-end solution implementation ensuring adherence to architecture standards, code quality, scalability, and security.

3. Integration and Data Management

Architect and implement integrations between Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server, and other enterprise systems.

Lead data migration initiatives from SQL Server to the State Data Lake, ensuring data integrity, transformation accuracy, and governance compliance.

Ensure adherence to data security and privacy standards across systems.

4. Performance Optimization

Continuously monitor system health and performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities.

Implement best practices for optimization, scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery planning.

Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to enhance application performance and maintain uptime standards.

5. Leadership and Coaching

Mentor and guide architecture and development teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Provide technical leadership to cross-functional project teams and serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.

Stay informed on emerging technologies and advocate for innovations that enhance DODD's IT ecosystem.
