What You'll Do

  • Direct and coordinate nursing care, ensuring effective teamwork for optimal patient outcomes.
  • Engage with patients and families in care planning and discharge processes.
  • Communicate essential information with healthcare team members to enhance patient care.
  • Assist in defining and upholding standards of excellence in patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to daily operational activities for a safe environment.
  • Provide feedback to Nurse Management regarding unit needs.
  • Engage in committees to help shape nursing policies and procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program with no prior RN experience.
  • Valid RN License from Virginia or a reciprocal compact state.
  • Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • AHA BLS Provider CPR certification required at hire.
  • AHA ACLS Provider certification needed within one year.
  • NIHSS (Bluecloud) certification required within 90 days.
