Overview :
The Business Office Manager is responsible for the daily business office needs including payroll and other accounting functions.

Responsibilities : Payroll / Benefits
- Complete payroll insuring timely and accurate completion.
- Code invoices and billing; reconcile benefits bills, as needed
Receivables and Payables
Handles billing to private insurers, long term care insurance and insurance verifications.Meets with residents and families to assist with financial management, insurance questions and billingAssists residents with applying to MedicaidHandles Account Receivable collectionsHandles Account Payable vendor invoicingManages resident needs personal accountsManages all bank deposits and incoming moniesGeneral
Supervises business office partnersMaintain knowledge of industry trends; help ensure complianceMaintains census, billing and resident recordsRecord keeping for the Board of DirectorsFinancial Reporting and maintain administrative budgetsPerforms any other duties as assignedQualifications :
Education : Minimum four year degree in Business or Accounting, or relevant experienceExperience :Three to five years' experience in a business office dealing with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Payroll, and Human Resources.Experience in a long-term care / / nursing home environment.Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookBENEFITS
