Responsibilities Work in the Operating Room of a hospital setting Provides perioperative care for surgical cases including Total Joints, Ortho Spine, Gynecology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Day shift schedule with four 10-hour shifts (7 : 00 AM – 5 : 30 PM) On-call required with weekday evening, overnight, and weekend rotations; 40-minute response time Expect floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted Must provide perioperative nursing care, circulating in a variety of surgical specialties Participation in a rotating call schedule is required Must provide 1 reference from a charge nurse or supervisor at application Candidates must not have been employed at this health system within the past 90 days Reference and previous employment status with the health system will be verified Orientation includes completion of online and in-person modules specific to specialty and hospital requirements Requirements Active KY or compact RN license required at time of application Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Minimum of 3 years recent OR RN experience required Level 1 trauma operating room experience desired Ability to work in multiple surgical specialty areas No licensure hits accepted for this position Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630875.
