Job descriptionPerforms all activity related to individual loan funding, including wire requests, monitoring of closing agents, line balancing, collateral traffic, payoffs, and reconciliation process. Work with mortgage bankers via phone and e-mail for any information needed in the funding, collateral, or payoff of their loans. Handle inquiries from mortgage bankers, as needed. Multi-tasking required within a team environment. Candidate must be willing and able to learn the various areas within the department, while maintaining accuracy and service levels. Provides the best service to our customers with innovative and creative solutions. High School diploma or equivalent. Three to five years’ experience in mortgage loan related environment. Experience in one of the following preferred : Mortgage Warehouse Operations, Mortgage Loan Setup, Mortgage Loan Closer, Post-Closing, Funder, Shipper, Collateral, Lock Desk, Wire Desk. Excellent computer skills required. Ability to deal with time constraints and strong attention to detail. Extended hours sitting and performing computer tasks may be required.
