SUMMARY : We are seeking a strategic, customer-focused Data Product Manager to lead our enterprise big data platform. This role is ideal for a product leader who excels at solving complex problems, leveraging data for business impact, and collaborating organization-wide to achieve key objectives.

As the data product manager, you will develop the foundation for analytics, data products, and AI use cases. You will lead a small team of product owners, engaging in strategy, stakeholder management, and delivery, working closely with data engineering, analytics, and business teams to prioritize work that aligns with company goals and delivers measurable value.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Partner with leadership to align the data platform roadmap with corporate objectives, defining and managing an outcomes-based roadmap that drives user value and ROI.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and streamline data processes and accessibility across all business channels.
  • Gather customer feedback to prioritize features and improvements that maximize value for financial advisors.
  • Set, monitor, and report on platform KPIs, driving adoption and identifying opportunities for growth and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead and develop a team of Product Owners and a Business Analyst, ensuring successful delivery in an Agile environment.
  • Ensure adoption and advancement of product management practices, including delivery planning, backlog management, and sprint execution.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND / OR ABILITIES :

  • Proven leadership in product vision, strategy, and execution within an Agile setting.
  • Strong understanding of financial advisory, wealth management, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with data platforms, insights, and integrating advanced analytics or AI into products.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and mentoring product teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic and hands-on tasks.
  • Curiosity and commitment to continuous learning about product and technology trends.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on delivering outcomes.
  • Ability to map and optimize user journeys for seamless experiences aligned with customer and business needs.
  • SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES : Yes, overseeing Product Owners.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Master's degree in Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • At least 7 years in product and leadership roles.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies preferred.
  • Financial Services / Wealth Management industry experience is a plus.
  • CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS : N / A

    PHYSICAL DEMAND : Ability to sit for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and work in the Austin, TX office during scheduled hours.
