Job Description

Come join Arrowhead Regional Corrections as a part-time (.7 FTE) Registered Nurse.

The salary range reflected above is the normal hiring range for 2025. The full salary range, including longevity pay, is $30.79 - $47.33 per hour.

Provides general health care supervision to the residents of the Arrowhead Juvenile Center.

Duties include daily medical and health supervision of all residents, maintenance of all necessary medical charts and files, conducting sick call, supervising dispensation of prescribed medications, conducting entrance physicals, maintaining necessary communication with other facility staff, conducting periodic medical training seminars and workshops for non-medical staff, and coordinating medical needs and delivery of services with the contract physician.

FREQUENT : Field of vision; visual accommodation; bend neck; feel; grasp; handle; move about; reach; rotate neck; sit; stand; talk / speak; walk; right and left wrist turn; exposure to blood borne pathogens and work alone. OCCASIONAL : Lift and carry up to 10 pounds; midrange, far and color vision; hear within 20 feet; use fingers; maintain posture; reach above shoulder; stoop / bend; taste / smell; twist; work with and around others; and drive.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (Pass / Fail) :

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota; valid driver's license and willingness to drive between work sites.

RATING SYSTEMS :

Experience & Training will be 70% of the scoring process :

Points will be awarded for job-related experience and education exceeding the minimum qualifications.
