Float Pool Registered Nurse - ED Boarding, Med / Surg, ICU - Night Shift

As a member of our Internal Float Pool at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, you'll have the unique opportunity to work across various specialties, including ED Boarding, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and ICU support. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess patient needs, plan and execute individualized interventions, and evaluate their effectiveness. You will cultivate therapeutic relationships with patients and families, ensuring their involvement in care decisions. Your proactive approach will include early recognition of changes in patient conditions, effective risk management strategies, and coordination of discharge planning.

Licenses & Certifications :

Registered Nurse license in your practice state.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification from the AHA.

Degrees :

Completion of an accredited nursing program.

Required Functional Experience :

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
