South Texas Mental Health Associates is a clinician-led, integrated mental health group with a mission to expand access to high-quality care in underserved markets. We are looking for an experienced Licensed Therapist with a friendly demeanor and strong analytical abilities to join us at our location in San Antonio, TX .
As a behavioral therapist, you will be responsible for delivering all therapy services including providing therapy sessions to clients in an outpatient setting and monitoring patient progress. This therapist will be integral to a comprehensive care team with board-certified physician leadership. We seek someone with a valid license (e.g. LCSW, LMFT, LPC) and 1-3 years of clinical experience. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate an Associate's license at this time. Requirements
- Present self and the clinic in a professional clean manner
- Interact with patients in a friendly manner and contribute to a positive experience
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all conversations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Respect and maintain the privacy and dignity of patients
- Provide excellent therapeutic services that meet the individual patient's needs
- Complete patient-related documentation and communicate relevant clinical information to both the patient, referring provider, and family
- Experience leading IOP and group therapies is a plus
- Support patients and their families with evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
- Evaluate client needs and create individual interventions while establishing person-centered goals for behavior modifications
