Position Title : Functional Consultant - MRP

Location : Remote, USA

Clearance Requirements : Interim Secret (Active Secret preferred)

Position Status : Contract

Pay Rate : $80-$85 / hour

Position Description :

Join a dynamic team as a Functional Consultant specializing in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to drive operational excellence and innovation. In this role, you will serve as a technical expert, optimizing highly customized MRP processes to enhance material availability, minimize costs, and reduce excess inventory. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to document RICEFWs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, Workflows), ensuring clear justification and alignment with MRP sustainment goals.

Key responsibilities include :

• Analyzing and monitoring MRP processes, troubleshooting issues, and providing actionable remediation strategies.
• Defining and managing security roles for MRP execution, ensuring differentiated access (e.g., viewing MRP results vs. executing MRP runs).
• Supporting the lifecycle of service requests, help desk tickets, change items, and software development processes.
• Identifying and leveraging MRP integration points with other transition packages to ensure seamless system functionality.
• Recommending business process reengineering (BPR) solutions based on SAP's commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) capabilities and current system configurations.
