Our client is seeking a Cyber Operations Engineer in Washington, DC. The Cyber Operations Engineer will play a vital role supporting a Homeland Security client, focusing on operational compliance, automation, and project coordination. • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate recurring operational tasks and monitoring across security vulnerability and scanning platforms.
• Monitor system health and process flows; escalate issues until automated alerting is implemented.
• Support operational project management including tracking requirements, updating timelines, facilitating team syncs, and ensuring deliverables are met.
• Drive continuous improvement of operational processes and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering, compliance, and security teams.
