Administrative Assistant : Freeport, Illinois

Our customer in Freeport, Illinois is seeking motivated individuals to join their team for a temporary assignment lasting approximately 6 weeks through mid-December . As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for answering and transferring calls, greeting visitors, and performing a variety of office support duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant :

• Answer and appropriately transfer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
• Greet and register all visitors and applicants; contact the appropriate staff member for escort
• Assist callers with general inquiries or route them to the correct department
• Announce interoffice pages clearly and according to company guidelines
• Process vendor acknowledgements accurately and in a timely manner
• Order food, beverages, and prepare rooms for hospitality purposes (may occasionally require pickup of items at local stores)
• Order flowers, plants, or gifts for hospitalized employees
• Provide backup assistance for the EDMS Coordinator and Mailroom

Administrative Assistant Requirements and Qualifications :

Pay for Administrative Assistant : $15.00–$15.50 / hour Administrative Assistant Benefits :

Type : Temporary, Full-Time (Approximately 6 weeks through mid-December)

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm (1-hour lunch )
