Job Summary :
The Developer / Programmer role requires an expert in PHP and WordPress to urgently restore and stabilize a website. The primary focus is on diagnosing and repairing issues related to login functionality, static pages, and problematic code, while also providing short-term maintenance recommendations and documentation.
Location : Washington, District of Columbia, United States
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair issues related to the missing WordPress login PHP file, restoring login functionality.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to the inability to make live changes to the static portions of the site.
- Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations contributing to website instability and apply fixes.
- Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability.
- Provide guidance on maintaining the website's operability over the short term.
- Document repairs, temporary fixes, and recommendations.
