Position Description: Aquaspersions North America is seeking an experienced Maintenance Support Technician on a contract or temporary basis, to provide short-term on site maintenance at our manufacturing facility. This role will report directly to the Plant Manager and is considered critical to ensure the safe, reliable operation of plant equipment, utilities, and facilities, while maintaining full compliance with OSHA, EPA, and site safety standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for a seasoned industrial maintenance professional who can quickly assess equipment condition, address breakdowns, and help establish effective preventive maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities: Corrective & Breakdown MaintenancePerform a comprehensive gap analysis across manufacturing equipment to identify required repairs.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment failures, coordinating with third-party contractors when needed.Diagnose issues related to vibration, leaks, abnormal noise, and overheating.Repair or replace components including:Pumps, valves, piping, hoses, and fittingsMechanical seals and bearingsCoordinate closely with the Plant Manager and Production team to safely return equipment to service.Preventive & Routine MaintenanceDevelop a preventive maintenance schedule for all plant equipment, including weekly, monthly, and annual checks.Work with the Plant Manager to engage and manage third-party contractors to support maintenance activities.Utilities & Facility SupportSupport maintenance of plant utilities, including:Steam systemsCompressed air systemsWater treatment systemsPerform minor facility repairs (e.g., doors, lighting, safety guards, platforms).Assist with startup and shutdown of utility systems as required.Help establish third-party maintenance contracts for routine servicing of plant utilities.Qualifications & Experience710+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Chemical, Production or Manufacturing Plant environment preferred.Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals.Hands-on experience with pumps, piping systems, and rotating equipment.Willingness to work overtime as required.Additional InformationThis is a temporary/contract role with immediate impact.On-site presence required daily.Compensation commensurate with experience.
