Marine Welder Navy Submarine Projects
We're seeking skilled and dedicated Marine Welders to support critical welding operations on U.S. Navy submarines in beautiful Honolulu. This is a hands-on, mission-driven role where precision, safety, and craftsmanship are paramount. Key Responsibilities :
- Perform structural and pipe welding on submarine hulls and internal systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding procedures.
- Operate welding equipment including MIG, TIG, and stick welders.
- Conduct inspections and ensure welds meet Navy and industry standards.
- Work in confined spaces and adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in marine or industrial welding (submarine or shipyard experience a plus).Proficiency in various welding techniques and materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, etc.).Ability to pass weld certification tests (NAVSEA standards preferred).Comfortable working in tight quarters and variable conditions.U.S. Citizenship required.Active or previous Secret Clearance highly preferred.Preferred Experience : Transitioning military personnel with welding or shipfitting experience.Prior work in Navy shipyards or submarine maintenance.Familiarity with military protocols and standards.What We Offer :

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
