POSITION SUMMARY : The Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as Rochester Christian University’s senior officer responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and management of all financial and business affairs. This role ensures the fiscal integrity, operational excellence, and long-term financial sustainability of the University, aligning all resources with RCUs Christian mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Working closely with the President, Senior Leadership Team, and the Board of Trustees, the VP / CFO provides leadership that strengthens RCUs financial health while advancing academic excellence, student success, and institutional stewardship.

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :

• Work experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in higher education or a comparable nonprofit organization.
• Proven success in strategic financial planning, complex budgeting, and organizational management.
• Familiarity with nonprofit accounting standards, ERP systems, and higher education regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and mission-driven leadership style.
