Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities:
Evaluating, diagnosing, developing treatment plans, prescribing medication, monitoring medication, evaluating treatment plans, providing referrals for additional treatment needs, collaborating with staff, attend staff meetings/clinic huddles.
Provides information to patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and counseling.

Qualifications

• Have a valid DEA number
• Interested in full-time/part-time contract position
• Proficient computers skills including EHR. Valant (preferred)
• Committment to excellence and high standards of patient care
• Experience treating adults with a variety of mental healthcare needs
• Licensed in California, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification (PMHNP-BC)
• Have current, unrestricted, California NP and Furnishing license without any disciplinary action(s)
• Empathy, communication, active listening, compassionate with diverse populations
• 5 plus years of independent psych NP experience

Compensation: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
