Position Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-service–driven Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring timely collections and strong cash flow across our roofing company partners. This role requires someone who can balance firm collections efforts with empathy and professionalism, delivering a high-level customer experience while driving results.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct daily outreach (phone, email, text) to customers with past-due balances.
  • De-escalate tense situations with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving.
  • Track and document all customer interactions, collection efforts, and resolutions in ServiceTitan and / or Excel.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to resolve discrepancies, confirm contract completion, and escalate unresolved issues to leadership.
  • Monitor AR aging reports and prioritize outreach to drive weekly collections goals.
  • Support long-term improvement of partner collections processes through feedback and accountability tracking.
  • Assist with financing review to ensure financed jobs are cleared for funding; troubleshoot missed or incomplete finance steps.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling customer information.

Qualifications : Required :

  • Prior experience in customer facing or call center roles.
  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills; able to de-escalate and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Experience with MS Excel and / or CRM / ERP tools (ServiceTitan experience strongly preferred).
  • High attention to detail with excellent documentation and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks with strong time management.

    • Preferred :

  • Experience in consumer collections, accounts receivable, or other similar accounting functions.
  • Experience in roofing, construction, or other service-based industries.

    • Schedule & Compensation

  • Standard Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm ideal.
  • Hourly pay : Targeting $20-25 / hour based on experience + performance-based incentives
