Bike Patrol Officer - University Setting

Pay : $19.78 per hour

Shifts : Rotating schedule with weekends involved for all shifts (2nd Shift 4pm-12am or 3rd Shift 12am- 8am)

Qualifications :

Active Connecticut State Guard Card

Active Connecticut State Driver's License - Reliable transportation & Clean Motor Vehicle History

High School Diploma or GED

1 year of Security Experience preferred - Military / Law Enforcement experience may substitute

Calm, polite, and professional demeanor.

Reliable and self-motivated.

Bicycle Riding Required

High level customer service

Bike Patrol officers are expected to be able to complete a 3-day bicycle training, stand for prolonged periods, walk long distances outdoors, be comfortable with incident report writing, respond to calls and interact with the campus community.

They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

The Bike Patrol Officer maintains the security and safety of sites by conducting patrol services and Security Officer duties within a mobile operation.
