The Role

We are looking for a Security Engineer / Architect that has worked with Systems designs and data protection. Candidate should have knowledge of architectures and cloud based systems for big data applications. Role is hybrid with onsite in Ft. Belvoir, VA. REQUIRED : TS / SCI + CI Poly and a DoD 8570 Certification with IAT Lvl 2. Salary range $150k-230k.

Responsibilities :

• Ability to document for completeness and accuracy in accordance with federal and DoD policy.
• Experience with DoD RMF system accreditation processes.
• Assess use case and operational risk of integrated open source, and GOTS / COTS software components.
• Use vulnerability management systems, automated security scanning tools, and system accreditation record systems.
• Provide security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management support.
• Apply existing knowledge of IAT to everyday tasks.
