Overview
The House Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the hotel’s public spaces and assisting the housekeeping team in delivering a high standard of guest satisfaction. This position supports room attendants by stocking supplies, removing linen, and ensuring guest areas are clean and inviting at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, restrooms, and pool areas.
- Assist Room Attendants by delivering and retrieving linen, towels, and guest supplies.
- Empty trash throughout guest areas and hotel.
- Restock housekeeping closets and carts with necessary supplies and amenities.
- Respond promptly to guest and team requests with professionalism and a sense of urgency.
- Report any maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
- Ensure proper handling and care of hotel equipment and cleaning supplies.
- Support deep-cleaning projects and seasonal tasks as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, resort policies, and departmental procedures.
Qualifications- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $20.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
