Packaging Technician

Job Title : Packaging Operator Location : St. Louis, MO Type : Contract Contractor Work Model : Onsite Hours : 1st Shift, 6am - 4 : 30pm Job Description : Work as a High-Performance Team member supporting all aspects of team performance in order to produce a high-quality product in a safe environment while complying to all Company policies and procedures in accordance with FDA regulations Key Responsibilities

• Operate the packaging lines in the packaging department on a daily basis.
• Perform routine quality checks to ensure that the products are in accordance with the specification.
• Perform routine safety checks to ensure that the equipment is in a safe condition for operation.
• Ensure processes quality and compliance in accordance with established procedures and standards of the Quality System.
• Comply with and support the Company Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Achieve Performance target for Packaging Lines.
• Participate in RCA for deviations.
• Participate in RCA for problems / breakdowns that occur on equipment.
• Perform and assist with preventative maintenance and autonomous maintenance on packaging production lines.
• Perform and assist with packaging production lines change overs to meet department needs.
• Perform and assist with 5S and cleaning activities to always meet good manufacturing practices.
• SAP functions-Batch reconciliation, Cycle Count, Material Movements, Confirmation, and Inventory control. Job Requirements : 1. Minimum Level of Education Required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent Area of Specialization Required
• 1-5 years of experience in a production environment 2.
