Job descriptionProvide 24-hour call coverage with a 15-minute response by phone and 60-minute response at bedside from hotel Deliver urological consultation and surgical care, including dedicated OR blocks and clinic visits Manage an average of 2-3 consults per day, including phone calls from the ER for potential office visits Perform 1-2 surgical procedures on OR days Participate in orientation as scheduled Must hold active licensure in Illinois and Iowa Board certification in Urological Surgery required Prior experience with urology surgery essential Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking a Urologist for a 28-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois, starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers flexible 24-hour call coverage in 7-day stints, with dedicated OR blocks and clinic responsibilities. Ideal for experienced candidates comfortable with urological surgery and rapid response protocols.
