Director of Product Marketing
The Director of Product Marketing helps shape and communicate the value of Raymond James Investment Management's investment solutions across intermediary and institutional channels. This role works closely with sales, marketing, and investment teams to develop product positioning, support go-to-market efforts, and create compelling narratives that resonate with advisors and clients. The director brings strategic insight and cross-functional coordination to ensure product messaging is clear, differentiated, and aligned with business goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Contribute to the development of product positioning and messaging frameworks across investment strategies, asset classes, vehicles, and client segments.
- Collaborate on go-to-market planning for new product launches and enhancements, aligning messaging, timing, and delivery across teams.
- Translate investment insights and product features into advisor- and client-friendly narratives, using storytelling and data visualization to enhance engagement.
- Partner with marketing and campaign teams to activate product messaging across digital, email, web, and event channels.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform positioning, identify whitespace, and support sales enablement.
- Support the creation and maintenance of product marketing collateral, including pitch decks, fact sheets, web content, and advisor tools.
- Monitor product performance, advisor feedback, and market trends to inform messaging updates and campaign refinement.
- Contribute to business reviews and performance reporting by synthesizing product-level insights and marketing impact.
- Stay informed on asset management trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to support strategic alignment.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience in asset management or financial services.OR any equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training approved by Human Resources.
