The Ridge Ohio is currently looking for a full-time substance abuse counselor for our outpatient program who is passionate about helping people maintain Recovery for Life.
Required Licensure :
Master's degree required, needs LICDC or LPC / LICDC or LPCC / LICDC or LPPC-S or LICDC-CS or LPCC-S / / LICDC-CS. Or LISW / LICDC combos.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Interviews clients, reviews records, and confers with other professionals to evaluate
condition of client
individually and in group sessions to assist clients in overcoming
alcohol and drug dependency
client
treatment, social services, and employment services
needed
while managing outpatient census in
electronic
medical record
dependency using established curriculum
appropriate documentation in a timely manner using current methods whether
manual or electronic
