Security Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Security Engineer to join one of their utility clients in the DFW area. This individual will play a key role in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security threats across the organization. This position involves triaging security alerts, identifying false positives, and leveraging EDR / XDR tools-such as SentinelOne-to detect and mitigate risks. The engineer will support incident response efforts and contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• At least 4 years of experience in security engineering
• Hands-on experience working with EDR / XDR tools or antivirus software, such as SentinelOne
• Expertise with Active Directory
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Minimum of a 2-year degree and equivalent working experience
