Fabrication Engineer Position

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage fabrication shop schedule through communication with company leadership, engineering department, and fabrication shop
• Generate shop drawings and cut-lists using design drawings from engineers
• Order, maintain, and track raw material inventory
• Order, maintain, and track consumable inventory
• Determine needed shop tools and supplies, purchase and ensure maintenance
• Maintain all shop tools, including all stationary power tools, machine tools, CNC machinery, compressed air system, and coordinate with outside vendors for machine repairs and maintenance as required
• Perform weld tests for new fabrication shop employees
• Manage day-to-day operation of fabrication shop
• Lead fabrication shop to ensure all project deadlines are met
