The MAT Addiction Therapist provides individual and group therapy to adults diagnosed with addiction and mental health conditions. This therapist works with both individuals and their family members. This professional collaborates with psychiatric and allied team members in assessment, diagnosing, treatment planning and intervention. This position is full time

The Therapist comprehensively assesses client needs on multi-dimensional domains (behaviors, health, education, financial security, relationships, meaningful activities, quality of life, etc.). Based on client and family needs, the therapist applies interventions to assist client with goals of sobriety and improved quality of life, decrease SUD-related triggers and cues, and distress relationships / family dynamics. The therapist will be able to identify what is under the surface and respectfully explore while maintaining unconditional positive regard.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

CREDENTIALING / LICENSURE . State of Michigan Master’s level license with the State of Michigan (LARA) with one of the following : LMSW or LPC
