POSITION TITLE : Hoist Builder / Installer

REPORTS TO : Hoist Division Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES :

This position reports to the Hoist Division Manager and will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling buck hoist systems on high-rise and large-scale commercial construction sites. This role requires expertise in hoist installation, rigging, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Specific duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Install buck hoist systems according to engineered drawings and manufacturer specifications to support vertical transportation on commercial construction sites.
• Ensure proper anchoring, bracing, and tie-ins to maintain hoist stability and comply with safety standards.
• Dismantle buck hoist systems at project completion, ensuring equipment is safely disassembled and prepared for future use.
• Utilize proper rigging techniques and coordinate with crane operators and site supervisors for hoist assembly and safe installation.
• Assist in performing preventative and needed maintenance on all motorized machinery.
• Follow checklists to ensure all essential parts are examined.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all parts.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
