Job Title : Director of Finance

Location : Fully Onsite - South Bend, IN

Salary Range : $140,000 - $160,000

About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Finance to lead the financial strategy and operations of our strong and stable healthcare organization. This leader will play a key role in driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with GAAP principles, and establishing robust accounting controls to support the company's continued growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in public accounting and extensive leadership experience in finance, with the ability to serve as a trusted partner across the business.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the financial strategy, planning, and execution to support organizational growth and stability.

Establish, implement, and maintain robust accounting controls, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with GAAP principles.

Partner with external CPA firms for audits, tax, and other financial reporting requirements.

Drive continuous process improvement across all finance and accounting functions to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Provide strategic guidance and financial insights to senior leadership to support decision-making and long-term planning.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA strongly preferred).

CPA designation preferred, with strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally with a foundation in public accounting.

Proven track record of implementing accounting controls, process improvements, and partnering effectively with external auditors / CPA firms.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
