Locating Desk Technician

A company is looking for a Locating Desk Technician I to assist in preventing damage to network protection and underground fiber lines.

Key Responsibilities :

Receive and record emergency and non-emergency calls and emails

Prioritize and address problems and requests, providing information or solutions

Dispatch Fiber Locators and coordinate with fiber location companies and utilities

Required Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience reading and comprehending maps

Experience in telecommunications, dispatch, or utility locating preferred

Customer service experience required

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
